‘she called me giant’ stands for home-made indie rock, from the beautiful Salzburg. Sebi Wimmer (voc, git) Flo Prötzner (guit), pepi Schieferer (bass) and Stoffi Leirerer (drums) are living proof that you don’t have to be out of Manchester, new your, or Stockholm to make damn great music. The sound of these four guys has more than once made folks take notice, it has grown over the years and developed clear concise lines, that make id difficult to put them in any kind of box. The vastly diverse musical past lives of the members of this band and their influences led zeppelin, foo fighters, the strokes and arctic monkeys to mention a few, make this a unique sound all to itself. These sounds are blended ,mixed and represented like never before. The duo of the vocals the electrifying guitar riffs, and driving bass are fed by the energetic drums. There is not overemphasized hardness, not overly melancholy, or sappy sound , ever imposed on the listener… ‘she Called me Giant’ is a sound all on to itself.

The tiny little debut stage has long been traded by ‘she called me giant’. These four guys have set high goals for themselves –they are ready to show the little alpine republic what they are all about, what has been amiss, and this would be a decent portion of indie-rock. The path this way has been paved…the secret weapon…’she called me Giant’…and they have already been deployed
