The band, the story; actually this band has been making venues insecure since 1996 under the name ‘deadly Meadley’ with a bit of a different feel. They have now evolved with new musical structure and necessary name. they debuted in 2003 with the album ‘perfect 10’ which took off in underground music circles rapidly and earned them a great deal of respect. Stage time with others such as Prong, Pitchshifter, and Spineshank gigging in and outside of the country.

After the fans, as it should be, had ample opportunities to mosh –in February 2006 the new album was taken on with producer Niko Stössl in the birthmark studios in Vienna. Already after the first rough-mix, it became to clear for those at work that something unheard was in the making and a new name representing this should be found. As the songs the name should also be erotic, and soft yet hardcore and uncompromising. The name should portray to the listener the same as the sound and texts; a general freedom to speculate underlined by the music…’delicious Red ‘ was founded.

While the debut ‘perfect 10’ was very steril and precise like a machine, the current album reaches back to their integral roots. The result is of the highest quality produced long player, but there are clearly attempts to keep the vibe earthy and emotional. Many songs are completely different than their stage versions, but burn into the hearers head regardless. The material achieves a constant tension between quiet or melodic passages and diverse breakouts tied together through refrains and absolute earworms. The lyrics are an attempt to philosophize the daily routines without imposing opinions on the listener or imposing eye-shutters..in any way or form.
